Since 1878, the White House Easter Egg Roll has delighted generation after generation of children. President Barack Obama, First Lady Michelle, Malia and Sasha continue the time-honored tradition by hosting the popular event on Monday, April 9, 2012. Activities take place on the South Lawn where kids and grown-ups participate in everything from Easter egg hunts to reading, cooking, and arts and crafts. This year's them is the Presidential Reelection and the special musical guests are the Bay City Rollers. There are some exciting additions this time around including egg tossing off of the White House roof, video games on the Watch Floor of the Situation Room and a yummy brunch in the White House Mess Hall. Don't miss out on all the fun. Tickets are distributed by online lottery only, so be sure to visit the White House website for updated information a few weeks before.
