We offer a variety of luxurious settings for all of your wedding events. Choose from the Chartwell Grill and our newly renovated Kalorama Room, each of which are perfect venues for intimate weddings, rehearsal dinners, and other wedding festivities. Be sure to ask us about the oversized suites for your honeymoon night or bridal party preparations.

We will be happy to assist you in coordinating the flowers, decorations, entertainment, photographers and transportation for your event.

Local Wedding Venues

If you're looking for a unique local venue for a wedding, here are some of our favorites. Your guests will enjoy the Washington flavor plus the special treatment they'll get at the Churchill.

• The Cosmos Club has been a fixture of the Washington social scene since 1878. Members can sponsor social events for family members and friends.
• The National Museum of Women in the Arts at 1250 New York Avenue is a beautiful Renaissance Revival building with a Great Hall offering an elegant space for a wedding and reception.
• For a truly unique Washington experience, consider getting married on the National Mall. A permit is required and restrictions apply (for example, no amplified sound is allowed). Only a few locations are permitted such as the Tidal Basin and the grounds of the Jefferson Memorial. Contact the Park Service permit office for details.
• Decatur House, one of the oldest surviving homes in Washington, is just steps from the White House, and a popular wedding venue.
• Meridian House, the former residence of Ambassador Laughlin, is a lovely garden setting in the heart of Washington, DC.
• Cranford House is the home of the American News Women’s Club, a historic 4 story French Revival townhouse in Dupont Circle.
• Dumbarton House in Georgetown – where Dolley Madison fled the invading British – is an outstanding example of Federal style architecture.
