No time for a trip to Paris to watch the tulips blossom in the Tuileries? No worries, the French capital in all its vernal glory comes to you in Parisian Spring, the latest concert from The Washington Chorus. The Grammy-winning choral ensemble performs a program of Duruflé, Fauré, Vierne and more at the Kennedy Center's Concert Hall. One of France's greatest living organists, the legendary Thierry Escaich (Duruflé's successor at Saint-Étienne-du-Mont Church in Paris), accompanies TWC on the Center's Rubenstein Family Organ, making full use of the instrument's astonishing range and 5,000 pipes. The Washington National Cathedral Choir of Boys and Girls also joins in the francophilic fun from the Chorus celebrated the world-over for its "thrilling sound" (The Washington Post).
